A Physics Engine for a Kid, But Not Your Hero Headline
The duality of Patrick: infinite patience for a child's game, precisely zero for a lazy layout.
He'll hand-write a physics engine so a kid can have a game. He will not tolerate your headline kissing the navbar.
Two men, one person
He will spend a weekend building a procedural world from scratch so a child can have a game with their own name in it. Patient, generous, unhurried.
And in the same afternoon he will reject a hero headline — 12px type, tone-on-tone, no breathing room — as though it had insulted his family. Serif fonts are “1999 Times New Roman.” A gray box is a small moral failing. Both of these people are him, and they are never in conflict, because to him they are the same standard pointed in two directions.
The law it left behind
