The Word “Waste”
He has an allergy. The allergen is the half-built, the wasteful, and the mystery button that does nothing.

A dead button. A seeded row pretending to be real. A screen that looks finished but isn't wired to anything. To most people these are minor. To him they register as a physical discomfort, somewhere behind the eyes.
He would rather ship one feature that works all the way through than ten that merely imply they might.
